These publications are hard to find outside of ornithological librarys but a recompilation of most of their citations along with updated material is has been available online from the California Energy Commission's web site for since at least 1998. Avian Collision and Electrocution : An Annotated Bibliography contains entries mainly from 1876 to 1992. This document is available from the Energy Commission's publications unit. It is also available as a searchable database called the Avian Literature Database maintained by the National Wind Technology Center at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
Bird Kills at Towers and Other Man-Made Structures: An Annotated Partial Bibliography (1960-1998) is an on-line bibliography created by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Office of Migratory Bird Management. It contains 125 citations, 83 of which have been published since 1980 and 24 of which are linked to Internet sites. This site has links to articles on towerkills in the popular press.
